As an Associate Buyer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of designated products and services, guaranteeing timely delivery and receipt while minimizing costs. Your knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures will be utilized to source the right products at optimal prices without compromising on quality. WHAT OUR ASSOCIATE BUYERS ENJOY MOST

Actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Managing purchase orders through all stages (creating, changing, tracking, receiving, invoicing, and closing POs).Collaborating with BU stakeholders to understand purchase requirements for products or services.Managing the 3-way match process through closure.Verifying and validating that the requested purchase is in alignment with standard purchasing practices or escalating as required to the appropriate Sourcing Team Member.Maintaining productive relationships in the supplier community to enhance Charter's reputation in the communities served.Assisting with auditing vendor performance on invoice and shipment discrepancies and communicating results with internal departments on issue resolution.Contributing to cost control initiatives by actively participating in vendor reduction, product standardization, excess material liquidation, item master cleanup, and maintenance activities.Performing other duties as assigned and/or required.

Through strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, we work tirelessly to bring innovation and efficiency to every aspect of our procurement process.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishKnowledge of physical database structures, disaster recovery and best practicesTroubleshooting skills with ability to isolate and resolve problemsAbility to build trust and relationships with Procurement, IT and end users/Business UnitsDemonstrated ability to be detail orientation with emphasis on accuracy and analysis of various data structuresDemonstrated written and oral communication skillsAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environmentAbility to handle multiple projects and seek input to prioritizeAbility to analyze and interpret dataExperience in purchasing life cycle methodology - 0-3 yearsExperience in negotiation, and project management - 0-2 years

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred

Hybrid Schedule - Three in-office days weekly

The base pay for this position generally is between $50,500.00 and $80,500.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
