Job Description The Associate Category Program Manager is a full-time position supporting marketing programming within the broader Retail Marketing organization. This team member will work in close partnership with category merchants and internal marketing teams to meticulously execute & facilitate process for weekly promotions. This team member must be detail oriented, managing multiple promotion periods and deliverables within a fast-paced environment. This role is based in Austin, TX with an expectation of being in the Store Support office five days a week. Core Responsibilities: + Develop strong and collaborative working relationships with merchandising and internal marketing teams. + Manage promotional asset build out using proprietary promo tools for deployment. + Ensure accuracy across all program and promotion deliverables and assets. + Support execution of assigned monthly & seasonal promotional programs & initiatives. + Support user testing and user story capture for development of new tech solutions. + Support process development and optimization for promotions program. + Supports promotional coordination meetings to track project schedules, including timelines and expected deliverables. Desired Skills & Experience: + 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience. + Strong business acumen + Familiar with marketing concepts in a retail environment. + Familiar with how marketing and related communications strategies and tactics are adapted to varied and diverse media platforms. + Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams. + Strong organizational skills + Responds promptly and accurately to internal stakeholders and third-party vendors. + Understands necessity of tailoring communication to meet the needs of diverse audiences. + Ability to handle confidential information. + Supports team and project activity as assigned. + Impacts the quality and timeliness of own work. + Proactively learns team roles and priorities. + Ability to handle confidential information. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. + Genuine passion for Whole Foods Market, our core values and culture. + Passionate about assigned categories. + BA/BS degree 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
