This ACNO role will have direct oversite of Ambulatory Nursing, Utilization and Care Management, Home Health and Hospice. The footprint of these critical service lines spans across all our Ohio facilities. Each submarket greatly impacts our community's health and ensures our patients have access to the best care. You will have the exciting opportunity to lead and execute Continuous Improvement models to advance Quality & Safety metrics, align practices across our operation model and staffing productivity efforts.

We seek an accomplished executive nursing leader to guide a high-performing team of seasoned and emerging directors. In this role, you will foster excellence within a thriving, patient-centered organization.

An executive caregiver who excels in this role, will:

· Develop strategic plans for nursing, including mechanisms to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

· Lead design and implementation of assigned business plans.

· Collaborate with and medical staff to develop and measure performance standards.

· Create continuous improvement environment promoting innovative patient care delivery and current research findings.

· Develop and mentor nurse leaders and direct staff to achieve hospital goals, nursing objectives and nursing practice standards.

· Measure budgetary performance against standards and ensures variances are within targets.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:

· BSN and master’s degree in nursing, business administration, or healthcare administration

· Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of Ohio

· Minimum 5 years of progressive nursing leadership within a large academic healthcare system.

· Working knowledge of national quality databases such as NDNQI and UHC

· Experience leading nurses and being an advocate for nursing

· Must possess ability to work independently, meet deadlines, multiple demands and multi-task, and must work effectively with all healthcare disciplines

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.Must be available and able to attend both early morning and evening meetings at multi- hospital sites and drive to multiple locations.
