Under general supervision, this position provides quality, program management, and assists the Clinical Supervisor by providing work direction to Program Managers and Interventionists, in addition to clinical supervision. Provides discipline-specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 per year
Responsibilities Provides direct supervision of interventionists, who monitor the development of children in home, the community and/or other natural settings; who provide 1:1 specialized behavior intervention services to children, and parent education, according to goals described in the treatment plan, which may include some direct therapist hours.Assists the Clinical Supervisors with supervision, training and development of Program Managers and Interventionists.Assists the Clinical Supervisor by facilitating behavior programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA); Conducts behavior assessments, functioning as an Assessor as needed; Provides parent education, develops and delivers specific intervention activities according to the treatment plan, and monitors development of individuals being served in natural settings.Serves as liaison between participants and Easter Seals; communicates concerns to Clinical Supervisor; ensures consistent communication between all support team members.Maintains and oversees accurate documentation, reports and program records.Meets productivity requirements set forth by annual budget.Leads and attends meetings, and conducts on-going staff trainings. Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in early childhood education/development, early childhood special education, special education, psychology, behavior analysis, or related field required.Typically requires Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification or the completion of BCBA coursework.Typically requires a minimum of three (3) years related professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a multi-disciplinary team setting.Expertise in approaches to intervention based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. Competent in employing and directing behavior analytic methodologies including Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Behavior Skills Training (BST), and experimental functional analysis (EFA).Expert knowledge of scientifically-validated methodologies and approaches found to benefit individuals with ASD; familiar with current related research findings.Familiar with the field of early intervention; knowledge of other community resources and agencies that serve individuals with ASD.Strong clinical, administrative, and leadership skills, with the ability to maintain customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions, and demonstrate good judgement, decision-making, and communication skills with a variety of individuals and groups, while exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality.
