Process Brief
The Entity Intelligence strategy team focuses on increasing the geographical breadth and depth of our company data coverage by formulating optimum strategy and identifying the best-suited third-party vendors, self-sourcing workflows, data collection and publishing infrastructure for firmographics, financials, people, securities, symbology, corporate hierarchy, and other derived datasets. The team is recruiting Associate Content Managers who will lead data projects and facilitate research, evaluations, benchmarking and project execution. This role requires previous experience in collecting and consolidating requirements, defining workflows, writing, and contributing to the creation of functional specifications and the maintenance thereof, curating time-bound product roadmap and providing project management assistance as required.
Responsibilities
Develop a thorough understanding of dataset, workflow, and product requirements for the entity (company and people) dataset.Perform data diligence (including competitor benchmarking), identify execution plan, blockers, and dependencies in collaboration with product and engineering stakeholders.Work with our Engineering team to turn requirements and functional specifications into implementation roadmap.Develop expertise on data architecture, client workflows and product roadmap for the dataset.Maintain proactive upward and downward communication related to progress and challenges for ongoing projects.Maintain an accurate and updated repository of documentation to support ongoing operations with transparency.Identify synergies and develop strategy to drive operational efficiencies.Collaborate across FactSet with content stakeholders regarding key deliverables and meaningful analytics.Work with engineering team to maintain scrum artifacts (product backlog, roadmap, and release notes).Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred)Total of 6+ years working experience. Two years in company valuations, background in KYC vendor/service providers, AML, Credit Analysis or Equity AnalysisStrong data aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills across technology, product, and data stakeholders.Experience with database technology such as SQL (desirable).Expertise in data handling using Excel and other data visualisation tools.Basic understanding of predictive analysis and ML/AI concepts.Highly organized, inquisitive, engaged, enthusiasm for improvement.Deep understanding of financial data provider landscape, preferably Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, FactSet, Refinitiv and emerging sources.At FactSet, we celebrate diversity of thought, experience, and perspective.
