Philadelphia-based Audacy is seeking an Associate Counsel to join the United States’ fastest growing audio company in the in the legal department.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Draft, review, interpret, and negotiate commercial agreements related to advertising, events, sweepstakes and contests, production services, content publishing and distribution, intellectual property licensing, data licensing and protection, consumer privacy, software and other technologies, and sports rightsProvide counsel on matters relating to intellectual property rights in radio broadcasts, podcasts, advertising, technology, images, and videosProvide counsel on matters relating to defamation, liable, slander, and First Amendment issuesProvide counsel on matters relating to sweepstakes, contests, and other promotionsProvide counsel on matters relating to consumer data privacy and security, including the collection, processing, and storage of personal information, and compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulationsCorporate policy training and compliance auditingDirectly handle or escalate legal matters arising in company Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

Minimum 1 – 3 years of current legal practice, including drafting, reviewing negotiating, interpreting contractsAbility to work independentlyComfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace environmentExceptional initiative, judgment, prioritizing and organizational skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Gmail, and Adobe AcrobatJuris Doctorate Degree with ability to practice in PA required Important Notes:
