Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Explore the complexities of Customs processes and engage with international trade regulations Manage the receipt, review, and input/transmission of documentation for United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) release Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain proper documentation for shipments Showcase proficiency in customs brokerage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices Maintain accurate databases for Customer SOPs and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Oversee customer invoicing and contribute to accounts receivable/payable activities Honor customer-specific SOPs for a personalized approach, while upholding high operational standards to ensure exceptional performance and customer service Communicate effectively with Customers, C.H. Robinson offices, Agents, and Outside Vendors Cultivate positive working relationships within the team and efficiently utilize C.H. Robinson’s extensive network and support teams

High school diploma or GED Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs It’s important to note that per the Customs Regulations, specifically 19 CFR 111.53(e), a Customs Broker is required to receive written approval from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) if it knowingly employs any person who has been convicted of a felony. For this reason, and unless prohibited by state or local law, we will perform our initial background check and an annual check for any person employed in a Global Forwarding Customs Brokerage Department.Preferred:

Compensation Range
