Associate Data & Records Management Analyst

Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing the data/records management and document control functions for operations engineering projects. Lead the coordination between cross-functional areas to ensure data integrity and compliance. Implement a program to effectively track and collect operations Engineering Project records and documentation consistent with legal and regulatory require

ments and corporate policies.

This position can be filled at either the Associate level or the Data and Records Management Analyst level.


Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the Records repository, ProjectWise or other searchable database. Includes creating, deleting, and managing a multitude of asset, project, equipment, & miscellaneous Project folders and folder structures within ProjectWise or another searchable database. Manage Project folder and folder metadata properties. Manage data compliance.

Responsible for providing guidance for enhancements to the document control and data/records management processes for design and engineering projects. Supports cross-functional collaboration in the development and improvement of guidelines for data management processes.

Ensure the gathering of operations Engineering Project data with regard to Capital improvements, equipment removal, and ongoing maintenance and operating projects. Construction data obtained from this position is the origin of permanent project records. The position ensures business compliance with the Company's guidelines.

Act as a subject matter advisor and coordinate between department and other cross functional areas (Design, Engineering, Project Management, Data Governance, etc.) to ensure data integrity and compliance and to meet or exceed the expanding corporate/departmental requirements.

Serves as operations Engineering Project Record management representative in project meetings and coordinates with Project Managers on project related activities. Proactively communicates with Project Managers to establish guidelines for project specific deliverables and project closeout.

Responsible for the establishment, quality and maintenance of Company drawing and document files. Collaborates with Management, Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Drafters in all aspects of drawing and document control. Spot auditing documents, invoices and processes.

Support various Continuous Improvement efforts, working alongside groups across operations to improve the drawing sets, the processes that ensure proper data/document integrity and control, and efficiency of transmittals.

Daily database verification of CIP Compliance.


Minimum Requirements

Associate Data & Records Management Analyst ($53,300-$75,167)

Associates degree (a combination of 3 years of related education and experience providing equivalent knowledge may substitute for the degree).

Minimum of 1 year experience in records management, database development preferred.

Related experience in engineering or operations area preferred.

Data & Records Management Analyst ($61,500-$87,500)

Associates degree (a combination of 3 years of related education and experience providing equivalent knowledge may substitute for the degree).

Minimum of 3 years experience in records management, data base development Preferred.

Related experience in Transmission engineering and operations area preferred.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $53,300.00 to $87,500.00 per year
