Associate Design Concept Engineer

Key Qualifications: 

Experience in design, characterization, and validation of consumer electronics, vehicle systems, input devices and/or HMI.  Experience in requirements development and transitioning ideas from sketches to reality.  Background in prototyping, full scale mockups and looks like/feels like demonstrations.  Strong analytical skills in regard to mechanical engineering theory.  Experience in leading engineering or technical teams in bringing a product to mass production.

Description and Responsibilities: 

As part of this team, you will be responsible for developing product layouts and technology concepts, particularly in the areas of electronics systems. This includes development of early prototypes and new technologies leading into scalable mass production. 

8+ years of hands-on, detailed product design experience.  Proficiency in 3D CAD (any modeling package).  Basic GD&T knowledge and experience releasing 2D drawings. 

 

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor of Science degree in ME  Internship experience
