What You'll Do
As a DevOps Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to join the SAP Artificial Intelligence platform engineering team within SAP’s AI unit. In a dynamic, fun, and start-up-like environment, you will have a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and AI technologies. You will be integral to designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters to support large-scale, distributed AI applications. You will collaborate closely with seasoned engineers and DevOps experts to drive cloud and Kubernetes innovation. 
What You Bring
•    Strong experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
•    Knowledge of Source Control Management (SCM) tools (e.g., Git, GitHub).
•    Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, such as Bash, Python, Java, or Go.
•    Hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker.
•    Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and configuration management tools.
•    Familiarity with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and service mesh within Kubernetes.
•    Expertise with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and creating CI/CD pipelines specifically for Kubernetes environments
As the SAP AI Core Platform Engineering, We Are Responsible For:
•    Building secure and reliable tools to increase developer efficiency, scaling from local machines to large-scale, production systems.
•    Designing and implementing robust service and infrastructure management tools that align with DevOps principles, tailored for extensive Kubernetes environments.
•    Developing and optimizing tools for recovery, monitoring, and management of large-scale, distributed systems running on Kubernetes.
•    Embedding security and quality measures from the start to build resilient, mission-critical AI systems on a scalable Kubernetes infrastructure.
•    Evaluating and recommending tools that enhance DevOps performance across large deployments and multiple Kubernetes clusters.
•    Creating a centralized CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous deployment) pipeline for efficient application deployment across diverse environments, including Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, and multiple cloud providers.
•    Collaborating with CI/CD experts across locations to drive central CI/CD efficiency improvements, especially in high-scale Kubernetes ecosystems.
•    Supporting release-level activities, ensuring streamlined and reliable rollouts in large-scale production environments.
•    Developing comprehensive monitoring solutions for CI/CD pipelines, ensuring stakeholders have real-time visibility across extensive Kubernetes infrastructures.

This role requires a solid understanding of the delivery and lifecycle of cloud-native applications, operations, deployment to Kubernetes, and DevOps principles.
