We are looking for an Associate Director, (Business Unit Leader) Manufacturing Operations to join our team and help us achieve operational and strategic success. The Associate Director, (Business Unit Leader) Manufacturing Operations will represent the organization, upholding its reputation and culture of excellence. This role will lead tactical and strategic development to achieve long-term objectives by driving results, developing leaders, and fostering innovation. + Execute day-to-day operations to ensure seamless delivery on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) metrics; collaborate with cross-functional teams, including EH&S, Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, and Engineering, to meet business objectives. + Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation to ensure operational readiness and on-time delivery. + Develop and implement strategies to meet long-term organizational goals while aligning tactical efforts with overarching business objectives. + Champion innovation and continuous improvement through Lean principles and world-class manufacturing techniques; drive strategic workforce planning, ensuring future talent needs are met through robust development initiatives. + Lead safety initiatives to maintain compliance, reduce risks, and ensure a proactive safety culture; develop and oversee operational plans that address immediate challenges and long-term opportunities. + Integrate tactical and strategic supply chain functions to enhance efficiency and manage risks; drive the adoption of Business Intelligence tools to optimize material flow and decision-making processes. Qualifications You Must Have: + Bachelor’s degree with 12 or more years of experience in an engineering, operations management, manufacturing, program management or closely related industrial environment OR a Master's degree with 10 or more years of experience in an engineering, operations management, manufacturing, program management or closely related industrial environment + In absence of a degree, 16 or more years of experience in an engineering, operations management, manufacturing, program management or closely related industrial environment . + Understanding of value stream concepts/workflow optimization + Leadership experience to include managing large teams with constantly fluctuating priorities. + Experience with Lean manufacturing systems + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Project). + U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract Qualifications We Prefer: + Experience using SAP + Lean/Six Sigma certification + Prior experience implementing Continuous Improvement strategies + Experience with new program introductions and increasing production rates Learn More & Apply Now: In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
