Associate Director, Content Strategist

This candidate must be insight driven, digitally savvy, and come to work every day with new ways of thinking about how content can transform the brand experience. You have a pulse on what is trending, what is part of culture, and how to break through. You have a proven track record of crafting ideas to serve them up to audiences in novel, innovative, and engaging formats and styles. You have the unique ability to start with the strategy, sell it into your clients and team, and see it through to publication - whether that be through a media partner, a creative team, or phone capture. You have experience working alongside creative teams, analytics teams, and media teams to approach challenges as an integrated marketing team vs. an individual department. You are curious and passionate. You enjoy keeping up with the ever-changing landscape of content and social media to find new ways to engage consumers. Day-to-day, your role will include: + Helping to identify and execute opportunities by client and client partners + Elevating the role of content within each of the campaigns for the client + Uncovering content opportunities for client(s) + Write POVs and share inspiration relevant to client business + Build client presentations to sell concepts + Ideate new content ideas with team members + Partner with social media team, editorial team, and media team to increase content engagement across digital platforms + Collaborate with cross functional teams + Recommend and implement best practices for content across teams and clients + Partner with analytics to optimize content performance across owned channels **Qualifications** **Requirements:** + 7-9 years of experience + Detail oriented + Experience working at an advertising agency + Proven experience creating content and ideas for digital and social channels + Understanding of media offerings, formats, and placements + Ability to communicate and collaborate with creative teams, media teams, and analytics teams + Enthusiastic learner with a problem-solving approach to challenges + Experience with financial services a bonus Got what it takes?
