Position Overview The Associate Director, Analytics will be responsible for driving key development activities associated with our Data & Analytics practice as it relates to marketing analytics in the media sector. This person will work with clients and peers to drive the strategic vision of our data and analytics practices. The ideal candidate must be able to proactively communicate ideas and opportunities, build strong relationships with internal and external partners, and will be responsible for the growth and development of an analytics team.   Responsibilities Ability to provide meaningful insights to team and clients, particularly in the web space Defines analytic program needs and recommends proper analytical methodologies to execute against these programs Owns client and partner relationships, helps drive strategy, measurement methodologies, and learning plans across IPG Mediabrands Insights and working closely with the fellow IPG agencies Directly manages a team of Associate Analysts through Manager and is responsible for their growth and development Turn data points into storylines using visualization strategies that illustrate the What, Why and What Now Responsible for external client communication including reporting, requests and questions Leverage a variety of tools to deliver rapid-response data mining and insights, while also working on large, multifaceted analysis Develop methodologies for aggregating results from various programs and campaigns Required Skills and Experience Leadership or management experience in digital marketing and understanding of broad range of online advertising media channels from Search, Display Banners, Email, Contextual, Social and Programmatic Experience with reporting & data platforms such as Datorama, Tableau, SQL, R, DCM, Salesforce DMP, comScore, etc. Experience with 3rd party data providers, DMPs (e.g. Salesforce), and DSPs (e.g. DBM) Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills Demonstrated success in helping clients take concrete action based on analytics and data and managing analytical and commercial elements of a client relationships Must have strong project management skills and be able to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously, ability to work under pressure Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written UM does not require candidates to have a college degree Desired Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience in marketing or digital analytics, primarily website performance Highly accountable self-starter with the ability to work well within a group, as well as independently Understanding and familiarity with advanced analytics practices Ability to digest and explain complex ideas to both external and internal clients Strong understanding of data and ad tech ecosystem, with a focus on the digital environment Collaboration, including the ability to drive clarity in a multi-stakeholder environment Demonstrated success leading work multi-functional teams strongly preferred

The salary range for this position is posted below.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
