RTX has an opening for an Associate Director, ERP Infrastructure Transformation - Infrastructure (Associate Director, Business Systems and Transformation).  Remote Opportunity.

 

Are you interested in playing a key role in defining the future of Aerospace and Defense? 

If so, we are hiring an Associate Director Project Manager to help lead our ERP Infrastructure Transformation.   

 

What You Will Do:

The successful candidate for this role will support RTX’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Transformation Program, ensuring the alignment of Infrastructure team activities and deliverables with those of other support teams and the broader program to ensure the consolidation and modernization of the RTX ERP footprint. The RTX ERP Transformation Program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into  standardized ERP systems. RTX has chosen SAP’s S4 HANA to enable our future ERP system and has largely concluded the Strategic definition and design phase and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases. 

 

You are our ideal candidate if you have experience driving technical execution of projects related to Infrastructure implementation for ERP (ideally SAP’s S4 HANA solution):

·       Project planning and execution​ 

·       Stakeholder communication​ 

·       Resource management​ 

·       Budget management​ 

·       Risk management ​ 

·       Change management​ 

·       Documentation and reporting​ 

·       Building and sustaining teams​ 

·       Directing technical execution​ 

·       Driving agreements and progress with partners/suppliers​ 

 

Qualifications You Must Have: 

Typically a minimum of 12+ years’ experience in the project management arena and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced Degree and 10+ years related work experience. 

 

10+ years' experience with at least three of the following project activities, including at least one of the first 3 listed will be considered: 

 

1.       Infrastructure implementation for ERP​ 

2.       Creating, consolidating, and refining existing IT services in support of major infrastructure initiatives ​ 

3.       On-premise to cloud hosting transition​ 

4.       Agile software development, managing the transition from waterfall​ 

5.       Large, complex A&D enterprise project -- or similarly regulated large org​anization 

6.       Projects staffed via complex matrixed digital teams ​ 

 

Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

   

Qualifications We Prefer:​ 

·       Experience with agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects​ 

·       PMMI and Agile Certifications​ 

 

Required Education: 

Typically a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
