Position Summary

This role will have responsibility to implement the compliance and ethics due diligence program for third parties, and to implement monitoring capabilities to address healthcare compliance (HCC) and anti-bribery risks globally


Key Responsibilities:
Lead third party anti-bribery and HCC assessments globally and report results to relevant stakeholders.  Assist stakeholders with ongoing monitoring and training for third parties.

Supervise the completion of third-party anti-bribery and HCC assessments by consultants, and report results to relevant stakeholders

Create actionable monitoring capabilities for global HCC and anti-bribery compliance monitoring for BMS entities and third parties; implement data and technology-driven solutions and reporting

Regularly report progress updates and relevant quantitative/qualitative metrics on third-party due diligence execution, remediation of findings, and training and monitoring efforts to relevant stakeholders.  Leverage technology and automation

Proactively identify and implement continuous improvements to the enhanced third-party due diligence and monitoring approach, working in partnership with Law and Compliance colleagues, Business Units and other stakeholders

Collaborate with the Law Department and other stakeholders update third-party compliance standards, and integrate these standards within contract templates

Collaborate across risk managements functions (e.g., Market Compliance, Business Controls, Corp. Security) and initiatives (e.g., TPRM, ERM) within the Company and support strategic projects, to streamline and optimize due diligence and monitoring solutions

Support other ad-hoc projects as identified


Qualifications & Experience:

BA/BS degree; Masters’/Advanced degree or related certification preferred (e.g., JD, CPA, CCEP, Healthcare Law Compliance Certification)

At least 6 years of prior related experience, pharmaceutical or healthcare experience preferred

Prior experience with anti-bribery risk management for third parties, with understanding of market dynamics and risks associated with outsourcing to third parties globally

General understanding of Global HCC laws, regulations, and industry codes; working knowledge of sales, marketing, market access, and medical processes and principles

Prior experience in implementing analytical monitoring solutions

Experience with leading teams preferred

Demonstrated urgency and ability to simultaneously execute multiple projects and tasks at various levels of complexity

Ability to develop strong collaborative working relationships with senior executives, peers, and influence cross-functional initiatives

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills,  strong organizational skills and attention to detail
