UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, GWM Americas Financial Controller in Weehawken, NJ.

We’re looking for an Associate Director, GWM Americas Financial Controller to:
• Conduct global daily balance sheet review, Hard Revenue Transfer (HRT) review and advisory business revenue analysis.
• Control and maintain integrity of financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial packs for senior management review.
• Set up HRT process and reviewing transfers, accounting for changes between multiple legal entities, resolving inter-company breaks, and handling managed account operations.
• Provide robust sign off for core controls and financial statements.
• Organize quarterly calls with the front office, operations and finance to review booking models and settlement issues.
• Review manual journals entries posted by offshore team. Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Deliver financial reporting and analysis including revenue, balance sheet, funding, and liquidity to the business leads.
• Schedule monthly sign off calls with CFO team, finance, legal entity controllers and provide detail walkthrough of monthly revenue by product and legal entity.
• Explain month on month and quarter on quarter variances in revenue by drafting commentary highlighting business drivers.
• Raise concerns on delayed settlements versus accruals, resolving issues with 3rd party vendors on delivery of data.
• Utilize front to back flows and partner with other functions to address inefficiencies and automate processes.
• Work with automation tools such as Alteryx and Power BI.
• Resolve offshore team issues with regards to work load distribution, backup coverage and cross training.
