About the Job

The Associate Director of Hemophilia Chapter Operations will report to the Lead, Field Patient Support Services, and will be a field based role, within the Rare Blood Disorders (RBD) division. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring operational excellence, driving advocacy group engagement, and supporting Sanofi’s leadership in the hemophilia community. You will serve as a central liaison between patient advocacy groups and internal teams such as CoRe, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Finance, Digital, and Legal to ensure  streamlined processes, robust relationship building, and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

Oversee the Hemophilia Chapter Service Agreement contract process, including development, execution, and compliance.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries.

Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure FMV (Fair Market Value) agreements.

Operational Activities:

Coordinate the chapter advertisement process in partnership with the CoRe team.

Actively participate in the RBD sponsorship committee to review and approve requests.

Create and manage a streamlined source of communication to the CoRe team of sponsorship request status

Manage the Exhibit-Only Request process, ensuring all required data is provided, request meets compliance requirements, approvals are expedited, and payments are processed promptly. This process significantly improves chapter interactions and reduces approval times.

Process payments for all contracted programming with non-profit organizations.

Financial Oversight:

Manage and report on program budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Collaborate with finance and business partners on annual budgets and purchase orders. 

Oversee the processing of payments to chapters for completed events.

Operational Excellence:

Represent Patient Support Services in the planning and execution of national patient conferences.

Develop and implement data-driven strategies, such as chapter segmentation and reporting, to maximize engagement in collaboration with marketing and CoRe teams.

Lead special projects, including chapter operations training for new hires, ongoing training for CoRes to ensure team readiness and alignment with evolving operational priorities.

Continuously evaluate and refine operational workflows to remove inefficiencies and support long-term strategic goals.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong partnerships with Hemophilia Chapters and internal stakeholders.

Travel up to 40% annually for conferences, field visits, and chapter events.

Serve as a key operational liaison, ensuring alignment with Sanofi’s mission and values.

About You

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Minimum of 6+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with hemophilia experience and national chapter knowledge preferred.

Exceptional interpersonal, team building, and communication skills.

Strong Excel skills with ability to actively learn and implement new technologies quickly. Also experience with Office 365 products and other platforms like SharePoint and Teams

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of attention to detail and organization.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

Proficiency with budget management systems and event coordination platforms is a plus.

Ideally candidate should be located in the Cambridge area however role can be considered remote based with the knowledge that they will be in home office once a month
