Associate Director, IHP Account Management

Team Overview: IQVIA’s Integrated Health Platform (IHP) is a modern data backbone that enables evolving integration of patient-generated data over time. It supports patient, product, and natural history registries, as well as long-term follow-up (LTFU) in life science studies1. The IHP team focuses on developing and maintaining this platform, ensuring its scalability, security, and usefulness for healthcare analytics and research.

Job Summary: Provides relationship management for key clients in a large and growing global technology practice. Supports in growing relationships and overall revenue for the practice and wider IQVIA by leveraging the full practice suite and identifying new business opportunities. Assists with coordinating the sales, business, and service lines at a segment and/or regional level to ensure effective execution against client needs and IQVIA revenue targets. Accountable for ensuring client projects are aligned with client strategy and coordinating all potentially sensitive messaging and managing account governance models at strategic level.

Responsibilities:

Understands the motivations of segment personas and specific clientsManages senior-level relationships to achieve or exceed both client delivery goals and IQVIA revenue and growth goals for assigned account(s).Manages the overall relationship at key accounts to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with product/service offering.Takes proactive role in contract strategyDevelops and maintains strategies for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business opportunitiesDevelops and executes account plan(s), monitors progress, and makes regular adjustments to consider new IHP / IQVIA offerings and/or changes to business conditions.As required, may support negotiations in renewing multi-year and/or multi-country/ regional contract(s) within assigned account(s)Provides leadership coordinating the involvement of IQVIA resources (e.g., marketing, sales specialists, consulting, client services) in actively anticipating and meeting foreseeable client and/or segment needs.

Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 8-10 years of prior relevant experience.

Knowledge

Segment and Key Account Management methodologiesIntermediate familiarity with medical specialty societies or non-profit healthcare organizationsIntermediate familiarity with registry solutions and related servicesIntermediate familiarity with project delivery practicesDemonstrable experience in one or more roles requiring autonomous decision makingCommercial experience in managing complex clientsDemonstrable experience and/or familiarity with key [segment] concepts and customer personasExperience employing consultative selling skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree requiredMaster’s degree preferred

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $108,500.00 - $184,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
