Job Summary
Responsibilities
Serves as liaison between HAL and IT staff at Booth, the University, and partner organizations, including managing support requests, contributing to requirements documentation, coordinating meetings, and discussing procedures and outcomes.Assists in onboarding new students, research assistants and lab collaborators to the HAL secure data environment.Supports external constituents (may include students and faculty at other universities and health systems) in the access and use of lab materials.Assists in recruitment needs for the HAL, as needed.Develops and supports data security structures and processes and assists in maintaining lab compliance records.Coordinates vendor relationships and contracting processes.Develops and manages project plans, with input from key stakeholders, including IT, contracting, research and administrative staff.Coordinates data intake process.Coordinates course set-up process for Prof. Adelman’s data-intensive healthcare courses. Provides course assistance as requested, answering student questions, troubleshooting, and ensuring timely resolution of access and other technical issues.Uses subject matter and best practices knowledge to perform lab and/or research-related duties and tasks. Works independently to assist with project design.Guides data collection, evaluation and analysis. Designs and manages databases. Writes reports, articles and manuscripts.Performs other related work as needed.
