This role requires the individual to work onsite 3 days per week at our Global Procurement Hub in North Chicago, IL (Abbott Park, AP51). Remote is not an option for this opening.
Job Description
Lead multiple high impact process improvement projects across the organization. Identify opportunities to significantly reduce operating cost and cycle time and increase efficiency and lead projects. Responsible for establishing the strategy/plan, and the processes that align and integrate efforts across multiple projects. Lead strategy sessions with teams and Senior Management. Recommend alternatives for strategies and priorities. Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. This role’s objectives include driving development of operational excellence roadmap, managing strategic vision and execution of M&A integrations, and championing organizational change.
•Drive development and execution of long-range operational excellence roadmap for S2P processes, ensuring alignment with functional and business goals
•Supervise coordination and handoff of S2P processes to ensure seamless transitions between functions, while optimizing workflows and eliminating redundancies
•Champion organizational change by implementing best practices in change management, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all levels
•Spearhead strategic vision for M&A procurement integration, ensuring seamless deal transitions through stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
•Establish key performance indicators in collaboration with functional leadership, and develop action plans to enhance performance by setting measurable goals and implementing targeted strategies for improvement
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement organizations, ensuring they are integrated within a wider functional strategy and procurement framework
•Lead and nurture a team of specialists by setting ambitious performance targets, providing tailored coaching, and evaluating team performance, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation

Qualifications
•BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related degrees; MBA/MS preferred
•Proven experience managing large, complex projects. PMP preferred
•Excellent communication skills are required
•Financial acumen and ability to assess project ROI
•Proven track record in leading M&A integrations, managing agile projects with a heavily matrixed environment, and driving cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives
•Proficient in budget management and operational oversight, ensuring adherence to standards and priorities
•Experience working with Source-to-Pay systems (i.e. Coupa, SAP S/4HANA) and project management tools (i.e. Jira, Microsoft Project, SmartSheet)
•Innovative problem-solving skills and strategic thinking combined with a solution-oriented mindset, enabling creative approaches that challenge the status quo and clear communication at all organizational levels
•Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of delivering transparent, comprehensive reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and organizational accountability

Salary: $133,500 - $253,500
