The LCCI (Lilly Capability Centre India), BI&A (Business Insights & Analytics) team was started in 2017 with the objective of supporting business decisions for the commercial and marketing functions in the US and ex-US affiliates. This team is part of the LCCI - Commercial Services organization and works very closely with business analytics team based in Indianapolis (HQ). The team currently comprises of 300 team members, with varied backgrounds and skills across data democratization, data engineering, analytics and data sciences, market research. The team works across customer segments which include HCPs, Payer and HCOs, Consumer and Med Affairs.

This role is for an Associate Director for the Platforms & Capabilities group. The Platforms & Capabilities group – a group that serves various stakeholders (across analytics and business) by providing centralized solutions including dashboarding (data democratization), personalization (through the enablement of use cases using a customer data platform) and tagging (on Lilly websites) . As part of the role, the incumbent will manage a team of 30 talented analysts with skillsets across data visualization, data analysis and tagging implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

People and Project Leadership

Overall accountability of work delivered by the team ensuring highest standards of quality and timeliness in an evolving business environmentMentor a team of project leads and individual contributors to help define and achieve ambitious goals and play an active role in their career developmentWork with a variety of stakeholders to build strong relationships of trust with team membersPlay an active role in annual performance evaluationsPlay an active role in defining and standardizing frameworks and processes for project management and execution to ensure efficiency and optimal utilization of resources

Technical Leadership

Provide leadership to technical and technology focused teams to assist with solution design and help remove barriers the teams may be facingFacilitate collaboration between team and adjacent business facing customers or IT teamsDrive team to adopt best in class practices as it relates to privacy and complianceIdentify future opportunities and business needs and expand capabilities of the group

Required Skills and Expertise:

Highly analytical with demonstrated experience of using data and analytics to drive business outcomesExperience with migrations on the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), CDP’s and Tagging tools highly preferredExperience of managing teams of >15 people and managing teams of teams requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh levels of motivation and learning agility to be able to learn new tools, technology in a highly dynamic environment

Education

Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, computer applications etc. preferred but not mandatory
