Associate Director, Product Discovery

We’re here for it. We think you should be too. We’re looking for a driven professional with an inclusive mindset to join our team as the Associate Director, Product Discovery. The Associate Director, Product Discovery will be accountable for the strategic direction and implementation of different components of customer product discovery on and off-site to maximize product visibility and conversions. They will work with Brand Merchandising and Product Management teams to craft a seamless navigation experience with user-friendly filters, sorting options, and personalized recommendations as well as fine-tune internal search for optimal product discovery. They will also oversee SEO efforts and manage SEO vendors to enhance organic search ranking and product visibility. This is a hybrid position that requires 4-days at the Northbrook, Illinois office A day in the life as an Associate Director, Product Discovery… + Set the vision while centralizing product discovery strategies and managing process change to deliver a transformed foundation for growth across all brands within Crate and Barrel Holdings (CBH) + Gather requirements through Brand Merchandising, Site Analytics, and Customer Research to identify opportunities to optimize all product discovery mechanisms (navigation, search, recommendations, etc.) for ideal selling and brand goals + Ensure alignment in global product discovery strategy as new features or tools are identified and rolled out + Develop and manage dashboards for product discovery, providing data-driven insights for brand-specific prioritization + Manage SEO efforts in collaboration with Marketing teams to develop a unified search strategy encompassing paid and organic channels + Communicate product discovery strategies and results effectively to key stakeholders across departments (e.g., C-Suite, Marketing, Sales)Build strong relationships with internal and external partners (e.g., SEO agencies, data providers) to ensure successful collaboration + Oversee the implementation of automation solutions to streamline site operations tasks related to product discovery + Focus on underlying data streams to automate and optimize various discovery areas + Lead and mentor a team of Managers and Associates, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement + Centralize product discovery functions, ensuring project management and clear ownership of initiatives What you’ll bring to the table… + Strong understanding of SEO best practices, UX principles, and data analysis techniques + Proven track record of developing and implementing successful product discovery initiatives + Understanding of how AI and advanced learning technologies can be leveraged + Experience in Ecommerce site operations for multiple brands and product discovery strategies + Experience managing vendors and vendor tool roadmaps + Proficiency in Ecommerce platforms and relevant technologies + Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze insights and recommend optimizations + Strong understanding of SEO best practices + Knowledge of paid search marketing strategies We’d love to hear from you if you have… + 7 years experience in Ecommerce Merchandising, Product Discovery or Strategy experience in a retail environment + 5 years experience in Ecommerce Site Operations + 3 years experience in managing/leading teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement + Experience with automation tools and methodologies + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations + Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams #li-hybrid Euromarket Designs, Inc., which does business as Crate and Barrel and CB2, will be referred to as “the Company”.
