The Associate Director of Program Management is responsible for the oversight of the Albuquerque program management team, providing leadership, coordination, and management of the program management processes and functions. This position leads the team that provides program management support functions and administrative support to program managers.
This includes but is not limited to; developing the forecast and ensuring on time invoicing of completed tasks and milestones, driving the new product introduction and tech transfer processes, mentoring program managers, facilitating and overseeing client visits, and supporting the RFP and proposal process. The individual must be able to effectively manage, lead, assign work, and problem solve both technically and managerially in a dynamic manufacturing setting. Evaluate new products and projects and support the proposal process by driving the completion of costing within the site SMEs. Achieve financial goals for contract, cash flow, revenue and margin. Collaborate across the company to identify and resolve operational, technical, and budgetary issues. Ensure project activities, milestones and deliverables are well planned by the program managers and all invoiceable milestones are invoiced on time upon task completion. Identify and correct issues that hinder the function and success of the program managers. Develop and ensure adoption of global PMO tools, templates and processes. Implement and drive the technical transfer processes, tools and documents for tech transfers and promote collaboration and participation from site SMEs and leaders. Facilitate monthly Project and Technical Review Board governance meetings for review of all active projects. Monitor and report progress of projects within agreed timelines ensuring technical, regulatory, compliance and financial goals are met. Partner and collaborate with internal departments to ensure full visibility of cross-functional tasks needing to be completed. Prepare technical and status reports and presentations on project progress. Collaborate with other groups’ activities as necessary to ensure project requirements are met. Individual is the key contact for escalation of issues and risks as they pertain to a client project. Determine immediate and long-term work plans/strategies for reporting groups; allocate resources for projects. Participates in the training and development of department personnel. Language Skills:
The ideal candidate should have the ability to read and interpret various documents. The essential physical demands will vary for each Curia position.

The working environments will vary for each Curia position. The employee may be required to work in an office, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
The office environment is designed for comfort and productivity, with room temperature settings maintained for optimal working conditions. It is common to hear conversational noise in the background.
The pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is sterile. Therefore, aseptic gowning is required. Personal protective equipment (nitrile gloves, clean room socks, face-shields, safety glasses, aprons, steel-toed shoes and powered air purifying respirators) is necessary, depending upon the task at hand. The employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, confined areas, and refrigerator or freezer temperatures when working in a sterile environment.
The warehouse environment is typically set at a controlled temperature but the employee may be exposed to refrigerator or freezer temperatures when retrieving materials.
Some positions may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, elevated heights, airborne particles, electrical activities and vibration. In addition, some positions may work with or be exposed to, compressed gases and must wear ear protection.
