The University of Michigan Office of Student Accessibility and Accommodation Services (SAAS) provides support services, advocacy, and academic accommodations to students with disabilities. SAAS oversees four main resources: Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD), Adaptive Sports and Fitness program (ASF), Testing Accommodation Centers (TAC), and Academic Support and Access Partnerships (ASAP). We are committed to inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility and are guided by best-practice standards and interventions, using a multidimensional model of student well-being.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of SAAS, the Associate Director of Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) will provide leadership, long-term vision, and daily management over operations for SSD and lead the work to ensure that all students receive the appropriate academic accommodations. You will directly oversee the department's budget, financial, and operational goals.
This is a hybrid position based on-campus in Ann Arbor, MI, requiring in-office presence 3-4 days per week. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Travel to locations on/off campus to conduct business may be required.
This position offers a salary range of $92,500 - $100,200 with a comprehensive benefits package.
