The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Global Government Relations team:
The Associate Director, State and Local Government Relations is responsible for all aspects of State and Local Government Relations (State GR) for the Western Region of the U.S., including (among other states) AZ, CA, TX, WA and CO. The Western Region is an important region in the U.S. for State GR. Over 40,000 RTX employees work in the region at dozens of major facilities. The region has many active economic incentive projects worth many millions of dollars, where RTX is receiving state and local money in exchange for company commitments to grow.
This position reports directly to the Vice President, State and Local Government Relations and will work closely with the entire Global Government Relations function.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.Progressive experience working in the aerospace and defense industry with relevant experience working with Congressional and State & Local Government offices.Must be authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship nor or in the future; RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
