Associate Director, Student Standards & Conduct
Job Summary: Coordinates the University’s Standards of Student Conduct system for all students. Promotes student learning and development through the student conduct process, services, and programs administered through the Office of Student Standards and Conduct. Required Qualifications: An advanced degree in student personnel, higher education or a related field or training and work experience at a level which equates to an advanced degree in those fields, prior professional experience in relevant areas within Student Affairs, and experience with adjudicating student conduct are required. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of strong interpersonal, analytic, organizational and communication skills; an aptitude for student conduct; and the ability to advise college students, work with a diverse population of staff and students, foster a collaborative work environment, and promote high ethical standards among students. In-depth knowledge and application of higher education law, university codes of conduct; computer literacy Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience in adjudicating conduct cases and evidence of progressive responsibility within student conduct administration is strongly preferred, along with experience in student housing and residential life. Experience with academic integrity issues, involvement with conduct boards including student leadership opportunities, knowledge of best practices in student conduct administration, and experience with conflict resolution are also preferred.
