Associate Director – Cloud Workload Analysis and Migration (m/f/x)

We are looking for an Associate Director specializing in Cloud Workload Analysis and Migration to lead high-impact projects, drive business growth, and inspire consulting teams to deliver excellence. As an Associate Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in our organization, combining technical mastery, consulting expertise, and leadership acumen to transform client IT landscapes. Your responsibilities will encompass: Strategic Leadership: + Sales and Pre-Sales Leadership: Lead pre-sales and sales initiatives, including responding to RFI/RFP processes, developing compelling proposals, and shaping winning strategies. + Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to align cloud modernization solutions with business goals. + Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by showcasing the value of cloud transformation services. + Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, contribute to publications, and establish a reputation as a leader in cloud modernization. Project Oversight and Delivery: + Program Leadership: Oversee complex cloud workload modernization programs, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and exceeding client expectations. + Team Leadership: Manage and mentor consulting teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. + Technical Direction: Drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge cloud architectures, landing zones, and modernization strategies. + Governance and Quality: Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, ITIL/COBIT frameworks, and best practices for quality and security. Technical and Consulting Expertise: + Workload Analysis: Lead comprehensive analyses of workloads across on-premise, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, identifying opportunities for modernization. + Modernization Roadmaps: Develop strategic roadmaps for cloud workload transformation, including refactoring, replatforming, and rehosting legacy systems. + Cloud Integration: Leverage expertise in cloud-native services and technologies to deliver innovative, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions. + Stakeholder Communication: Deliver executive-level presentations, management summaries, and actionable recommendations to clients and partners. Required Technical and Professional Experience + Deep expertise in major cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP), their core services, and cloud-native technologies. + 7+ years of experience in IT management consulting, with the ability to align technology solutions to complex business challenges. + Strong experience leading pre-sales efforts, including RFI/RFP processes, proposal development, and closing strategic deals. + Experience as a Cloud Architect / Specialist AI Architect / Specialist or similar + In-depth understanding of IT operations, service management (ITIL, COBIT), and enterprise governance frameworks. + Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing large-scale projects, and mentoring junior consultants. + Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences + Understanding of DevSecOps, Agile, Scrum construct to identify inefficiencies through readiness assessments and development of strategies and approaches to optimize the implementation of IT or cloud resources and capabilities + Subject matter expertise in at least one platform (e.g. cloud computing, cloud hyperscaler, X86, mainframe, midrange) + Strong communication skills in German and English + Willingness to travel across Germany and work in diverse, dynamic environments. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience + TOGAF expertise and certifications + Experience with various IT Operating Models and building organizations to deploy and support key technologies + Advanced certification on key technologies within your platform or area of expertise + Ability to articulate key technologies’ impact on security, availability, cost, capacity, etc. + Experience in Agile (Kanban, SAFe, and Scrum) **Being You** Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
