**39574BR** **Extended Job Title:** Associate Director **Org Level 1:** Texas Tech Unv Hlth Sci Ctr El Paso **Position Description:** Performs administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and program. Under general supervision, performs varied and complex administrative duties requiring independent judgment and the application of established policies and procedures. May provide supervision and direction to clerical, para professional or professional staff members. Responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of clinical trials, with a specific focus on budgeting, billing, coverage analysis, and financial management. Ensures financial integrity and compliance for research activities and provides comprehensive financial reports to the Office of Research. Works under general supervision with broad latitude for initiative and independent judgment. **Requisition ID:** 39574BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Develop and manage comprehensive budgets for clinical trials, ensuring accurate forecasting and allocation of resources. + Monitor and report expenditures, revenues, and financial performance for assigned projects. + Oversee the billing process for clinical trials ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to sponsors and other stakeholders. + Develop and implement improvements to billing process to ensure compliance with billing policies and procedures including Medicare Coverage Analysis requirements. + Conduct and document throughout coverage analysis for clinical trials for the site ensuring up to date knowledge of regulatory updates and industry standards are adhered to. + Foster a collaborative environment with investigators and research teams to support the financial aspects of clinical trials. + Complete all other duties assigned. + Adhere to all TTUHSC EP policies, procedures and processes. + Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork).
