About the role
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement strategic plans for commercial management and quantity surveying.Commercial Management:
Oversee the preparation and management of project budgets and financial forecasts.Ensure accurate cost control and financial reporting for all projects.Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers.Identify and mitigate commercial risks across projects.Quantity Surveying:
Lead the quantity surveying team in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.Ensure accurate measurement and valuation of construction work.Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs.Provide expert advice on contractual matters and dispute resolution.Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.Present reports and updates to senior management and clients.Team Development:
Mentor and develop the commercial management and quantity surveying teams.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Ensure the team is up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.Compliance and Quality Assurance:
