The Job:
We are looking for an Associate Director-Business Strategy to join the Mass Markets Strategic Assessment & Business Planning team.
You Will:
Support and execute analysis, research and solution development to aid executive leadership in setting the strategy for the business
Produce executive-level communications, reports, and presentations
Create and ideate on new experience concepts and business models
Communicate work and findings to leadership and key partners
Foster highly collaborative working relationships both in and outside of the team
Coach and develop direct reports
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Demonstrates expertise in the economics of business and understanding valuation methodologies.
Identifying growth opportunities, business model innovation, and facilitating cross-business unit initiatives.
Evaluating and financial modeling of potential partnership, joint venture and business opportunities.
Monitoring medium to long-term business trends/outlooks, gathering competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership.
Collaborate across multiple internal teams (e.g., finance, risk management, marketing, supply chain, IT, HR) to ensure successful delivery of results based on scope of work.
Provides leadership in the team environment and can self-directed and work independently with analysis and research projects.
Responsible for leveraging strong financial analysis and modeling skills, including the ability to interpret disparate, complex data into a range of alternate futures.
Utilizes research skills and evaluates competitive and industry dynamics. Leverages standard strategy frameworks and applies analysis.
Integrates both financial and strategic analysis into a synthesized set of hypotheses and conclusions.
Distills core components of complex problems into succinct and easily understood set of conclusions.
Demonstrates a strong skillset presenting hypotheses, conclusions and recommendations to senior management.
Job Contribution:
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of industry trends and competitive dynamics requires evaluation of a variety of factors and potential outcomes. Strong executive presence with model verbal and written communication skills. Regarded as a leader in strategy across the associates demonstrating excellent understanding of market conditions and the competitive landscape along with AT&Ts core value.

Qualifications:
Five or more years’ experience in project/process management
Five or more years’ experience in Operations: Sales, Sales Support, Service, Tech, or Field
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong leadership, organizing and planning skills
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
Must have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
Motivated individual who can work under minimal supervision
The candidate must be able to work well with others and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
You Might Also Have:
Two or more years management/supervisory experience
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business or related field
PMP certification
Strategic planning experience
Risk Assessment certification
SAFe Agile Certification
10+ years of experience in related industry or field (may include education and previous work experience)

Our Associate Director-Business Strategy earn between 143,800.00 - 215,800.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
