What You Will Do:
This position includes responsibilities in both leveraging and delivering quality, high-level, consulting services to clients for the Guidehouse Clinical Solutions Practice. Organizations across the health industry are seeking holistic solutions that transform every essential function in the delivery of care and other services. Guidehouse helps organizations transform their clinical operating model with virtual, digital, and automated technology, and advanced data analytics, to facilitate effective and efficient care delivery across the continuum. Our person-centered approach engages and integrates clinical and operational workstreams that touch all aspects of the care continuum. Specific responsibilities include:
Lead cross-continuum consulting engagements through transformational change for payer and provider organizations
Leverage existing industry relationships for sales and engagement opportunities
Manage client relationships at the C-Suite level and provide delivery at the operational level
Deliver industry expertise and management consulting services in support of client engagements
Deliver return on investment and financial results based on initiation of processes and tactics.
Establish account management relationships with key client decision makers with 100% reference ability.
Deliver industry best practices in clinical care, care management, utilization management, throughput, and post-acute services for payers and providers.
Create client-ready deliverables
Mentor Guidehouse team members to develop skills and knowledge for payer and provider practices
Provide visible leadership within the account and the practice.
What You Will Need:
7-10 years of prior relevant consulting and/or industry experience; and 3 years of client-facing consulting experience leading complex projects to timeline and scope with an exceptional attitude
Recent experience working within a healthcare provider or payer setting, most of which is at the management level
Ability to develop and drive complex, multi-faceted, multi-site, operational change and clinical improvement programs
Clinical licensure and Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; graduate degree preferred
Excellent financial and quantitative acumen
Experience using Microsoft office suite - primarily excel, power point, and visio
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Inpatient throughput (emergency room, care management, LOS, and post-acute setting)
Inpatient utilization review and denials management
Payer care management, utilization management and quality experience
Positive and clear interpersonal communication skills with ability to facilitate the exchange of information at all levels internally, as well as with a clients
Ability to develop and monitor performance metrics at all levels of operations
5 years of project/program management leadership of complex provider deliverables with majority of those years in larger provider systems
Knowledge and familiarity with industry IT and tech-enabled solutions
Capacity to adapt and lead others in response to changing business conditions
The annual salary range for this position is $144,400.00-$216,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
