Job Description
We are looking for a Middle/Back Office Operations Associate Director with OTC Derivative product knowledge for our Singapore office.
Responsibilities Include:
Coordinating overall work plan for US client service group operations staff, which includes managing and monitoring work in progressWorking closely with India operations managers to ensure that both locations are aligned at all timesProviding coaching, training and leadership as necessary to the client service teamPerforming regular review of MIS to monitor breaks and perform root cause analysis.Acting as liaison between client and prime brokers and counterparts to facilitate break resolution when requiredContributing to internal project initiatives regarding new product development, testing and implementationOverall client satisfaction including acting as the senior client relationship manager, ensuring there is a good dialogue between client and team and clients are kept abreast of internal changes and new initiativesWorking closely with the Implementations department to ensure all new clients operations capabilities (setups, reorgs, conversions) are launched successfully and in a timely mannerProviding technical operations/industry knowledge to clientsDay to day interaction with other departments to prevent/resolve issuesProducing and collating management information statisticsSkills and Knowledge Desired:
Bachelors degree in business/finance or related discipline5+ years experience in Accounting or Back Office Operations working for a Prime Broker, Administrator, Hedge Fund, Mutual Fund, Investment Advisor or Financial/Retirement PlannerPrior experience with Equities, Fixed Income, Futures, FX, and Options a mustPrior experience with Credit, Interest and Equity Derivatives a mustSolid knowledge of corporate actionsMiddle/Back office experience covering trade settlements, fail control, cash, position and trade reconciliation, and client servicingPrior supervisory experienceAbility to delegate effectivelyAdvanced MS Excel knowledgeUnless explicitly requested or approached by SS&C Technologies, Inc. or any of its affiliated companies, the company will not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
