Nature & Purpose of Position To create and implement long-term strategy for college recruiting activities and graduate programs. Develop goals and objectives in alignment with college’s strategic plan. Primary Responsibilities Responsible for recruiting and retaining graduate, online, and off-campus students. Duties may include, but are not limited to: coordinates the promotion of graduate programs and distance learning; communicates with prospective graduate, online, and off-campus students; academic advising of graduate students; coordinates the scheduling of undergraduate, graduate, online, and off-campus (The University Center, University Park, etc.) courses. Maintains related webpages. Trains and evaluates staff. Coordinates hiring graduate assistants. Participates in activities involving the projection of the university’s image to the public. Assists graduate and online students’ transition into the university. Acts as a college liaison with the Office of Graduate Studies. Coordinates graduate student organizations. Performs other related duties as assigned. Other Specifications Assist in implementing all phases of graduate, online, and off-campus recruiting. Requires excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills. May require working occasionally some evenings and/or weekends.
