Posting Details Posting Details (Default Section) Job Title: Associate Director of Donor Relations & Stewardship Campus: Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck, NJ Department: University Advancement-Metro Hiring Manager: Colleen Coppla Hiring Manager Title: Senior Vice President for University Advancement College: Position Type: Professional Administrative Grade: 25 FLSA: Exempt Faculty Rank: Salary: Commensurate with Experience Status: Full-Time Months Worked: 12 Month Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Advancement Communications & Marketing, the Associate Director of Donor Relations & Stewardship is responsible for executing personalized and comprehensive acknowledgement, stewardship, recognition, engagement functions and scholarship support for the University’s donors at all levels. Required Qualifications: PRINCIPAL DUTIES:1. Sustains a positive and mutually rewarding relationship between Advancement colleagues, University partners, and others to maintain a donor-centered approach to daily activities and responsibilities.2. Implements an annual scholarship and donor fund reporting program; works directly with departments to ensure all scholarships are awarded, and obtain past and current scholarship recipient testimonials for impactful donor stewardship reporting.3. Strategizes and facilitates top-level donor acknowledgement recognition letters.4. Plans and executes donor relations events as assigned; collaborates with colleagues to ensure streamlined and timely communication for print/digital announcements/invites, attendance management; program details and post event follow-up and stewardship tracking.5. Interfaces with donors to respond to inquiries and assist with outreach regarding events, scholarship recipients, campus visits.6. Develops relationships with University partners to stay abreast of current activities and developments that can lead to donor engagement and stewardship opportunities.7. Assists fundraisers in creating customized stewardship plans.8. Maintains and manages a donor relations execution calendar.9. Performs other work related duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:1. Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field of study.2. Minimum of two years of professional experience required in Advancement and/or Development or proven assistant/associate level performance in a field of work related to the functions of the position.3. Excellent and consistent attention to detail.4. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and project management skills.5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canvas (or similar application).6. Experience preferred using technology to manage information. Knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge a plus.7. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
