As the Associate Director of Operations - Autonomous Vehicle Solutions, you will spearhead the establishment and success of the Onroad Transport Operations entity. This pivotal role places you at the heart of shaping the future, overseeing customer pilots, validating systems and building a high-performing operations team. Responsibilities Lead innovation: Build and manage the transport operations entity, preparing it for commercial pilot operations. Recruit, manage, lead, coach, train, develop and motivate your team to deliver high quality results Strategize for Success: Analyze business operations, plan staffing, extablish processess and ensure alignment with standards and policies. Inspire Excellence: Recruit, coach and develop a dynamic team capable fo delivering top-tier autonomous transport solutions. Drive result: Implement and test operational concepts, train customers, monitor progress and ensure operational readiness. Optimize systems: Oversee the daily operations, including repair and maintenance for onboard, offboard and IT systems. Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with R&D teams to integrate operations into pilots, continuously improving performance. The role is part of the International Operational excellence as well as TRATON Autonomous Solutions organization. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 12 years of operations management experience At least 6 years of management experience OR Master’s degree At least 10 years of operations management experience At least 6 years of management experience OR At least 14 years of operations management experience At least 6 years of management experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills Proven leadership in transportation or logistics operation Expertise in managing customer relationships and driving operational success. Strong understanding in autonomous technologies and automotive safety standards, such as ISO 26262 Exceptional leadership, team-building and cross-functional collaboration skills. Analytical problem-solving abilities and knack for thriving in a fast-paced evolving environment. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage diverese audiences effectively.
