Summary You will serve as a ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF RECRUITING AND ADMISSIONS for the US NAVAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE. Responsibilities You will coordinate participation in US Naval Community College (USNCC) online and in-person events designed to meet and exceed target application goals to include creation of recruitment programming as well as networking. You will analyze and evaluate, on a quantitative and/or qualitative basis, the effectiveness of programs or operations in meeting established program and student outcomes. You will launch and oversee the student ambassador program, a mechanism by which current students and alumni can disseminate information about USNCC to their peers and encourage them to apply for admissions. You will coordinate creation and updates to the USNCC website, digital forms, handouts, brochures and other digital and printed USNCC materials based on feedback and information from internal and external constituents. You will partner with internal, military, and civilian constituents to devise and optimize how online and event participation as well as targeted social media campaigns lead to meeting or exceeding qualified application targets. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-12 In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing processes, personnel and resources for an adult educational program; 2) Researching and analyzing statistical data for adult learning programs to identify issues develop improvements; 3) Interpreting and translating policies into succinct answers and messages to be delivered via support staff; and 4) Developing and organizing written documentation and presentations (e.g., program handouts, handbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), Knowledge Management (KM) articles and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)) to inform, train, and address constituents' questions and concerns. GS-11 In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Determining and advising on admission requirements for adult educational programs; 2) Analyzing statistical data for educational or training programs to identify issues and trends; 3) Interpreting policies to ensure compliance within assigned programs; and 4) Develop and edit documents, reports, and presentation for senior level management.
