Associate Director of Sales

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Associate Director of Sales to join our team at the first Hyatt Hotel in the Czech Republic, the flagship Andaz property in Europe. Nestled in the historic Sugar Palace, Andaz Prague is a luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Prague's vibrant historic center. Just steps from iconic landmarks like Old Town Square, guests are immersed in the city's enchanting stories and culture, both within the hotel’s unique design and beyond.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF SALES

You will play a key role in supporting and driving the performance of our Sales team. You will focus on maximizing revenue potential while ensuring a customer-centric approach is consistently at the heart of all strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and pursue potential new business opportunities.
Manage both individual and team account bases to exceed revenue targets.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as decision-makers, event organizers, and associations.
Track sales activity, ensuring accurate records in sales tools and action plans.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans, launching tactical promotions as needed.
Act as a trusted business advisor for clients, ensuring promises are met and value delivered.
Plan and execute international sales visits, trade fairs, and familiarization groups to promote the hotel and foster new business.
Conduct a minimum of 20 weekly sales-related activities (e.g., calls, inspections, in-house events).
Monitor competitor practices and utilize tools like RGI scorecards to identify trends.
Ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed about revenue delivery processes for each market segment.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders critical to sales success.
Maintain a strong presence in the local community by participating in industry organizations and networking events.
Actively manage your personal development plan and coach team members to achieve high performance.
Assist in preparing departmental reports, including forecasts, budgets, and sales performance analysis.
Stay up to date on industry trends to inform new marketing strategies.
Manage accounts, ensuring all aspects of the sales process are well-documented and completed.

To Be Successful, You Should Have:
Excellent communication and professional acumen.
Proven experience in creating strategic plans aligned with property goals.
Strong understanding of sales techniques and marketing approaches.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a 5-star environment.
A self-starter mentality with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience with Opera is highly desirable.
The ability to work effectively in large, diverse teams.
Strong time management and organizational skills.

Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related disciplines.
At least 3 years of experience in sales or an equivalent business development role.
Strong presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
Goal-oriented, self-driven personality with a resourceful mindset.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans.
In-depth understanding of hotel systems and revenue management principles.
Ability to assess market trends and consumer behavior to create targeted strategies.
Flexibility and adaptability in approach.
