Join us and we can make a difference together. **About This Role** The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve the company's sales targets and objectives. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and effectively communicating value propositions. The Director of Sales will report to the VP & GM, Truck Trailer Americas & Digital Solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets. + Create and communicate sales goals and ensure leadership are informed on the progress of those goals. + Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs. + Manages business development activities, establishes bid proposal process, leads team in negotiations with customers, and builds and maintains customer relationships to win business. + Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes. + Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals. + Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets. + Direct the sales team and advise the leadership team on prospective target accounts. + Enhance sales skills of the sales team through training, establishment of standard work, pipeline development, salesforce implementation, succession planning, etc. + Manage quota/SIP development processes and implement cadence of performance review + Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries and quote / order management. + Develop and maintain a robust customer pipeline. + Drive price and margin expansion initiatives. + Promote the adoption of new products and services and implement necessary initiatives/campaigns. + Oversee dealer network management and ensure strong dealer relationships. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree. + 3+ years of management experience + 10+ years of experience in sales, customer service or other customer facing roles. + Ability to travel nationally and internationally, up to 50% or greater. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Master's degree from an accredited college or university. + Experience in the refrigeration or transportation industry. + Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in a business. + Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. + Strong business acumen and industry expertise. + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent communication and negotiation skills. + Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics. \#LI-Hybrid \#LI-On-site RSRCAR **Pay Range:** $133,319 - $232,919 Annually **_Carrier is An Equal_** **_Opportunity/Affirmative_** **_Action Employer.
