The Undersea systems directorate is seeking a Program Associate Director to lead a portfolio of Remote Mine Hunting (RMH) programs that fill a critical mission for the US Navy and our allies. This role will be responsible for production, integration, and sustainment support for the US Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The portfolio consists of programs across the span of program lifecycles, with programs in capture, development, production, and sustainment. The team is comprised of an integrated support structure for the operation of all programs, with an integrated functional and engineering team. The RMH Associate Director will be a critical member of the Undersea senior leadership team. This position will lead and manage a diverse team and portfolio, acting as the lead customer interface. The role will set expectations and priorities for the portfolio, ensuring all customer needs are met and exceeded. What You Will Do: + Provide portfolio leadership including strategic growth input and accountability for the long range & annual operating plan and risk and opportunity management. + Leadership Management of multiple programs and program managers. + Priority setting for Engineering through Chief Engineer, CPT Leads + Principle customer interface for shaping current active contracts with government and industry partners and future growth into Organizational, Intermediate and Depot level support, Research Development Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) funded capabilities and international markets + Drive functional engagement, support and staffing, ensure appropriate metrics keeping and actions for production including Risks and Opportunities + Implementation and execution of RTX Program Lifecycle Model (RLPM) + Quarterly Program Review coordination with customer + Develop strategic road map for RMH programs and technology + Travel to customer and industry partner sites including Washington DC, Panama City Beach, San Diego (up to 25%) + Conducts routine leader coordination Meetings with immediate staff (PMs, CE, Finance, Contracts) What You Will Learn: + Raytheon and RTX Business Acumen + SBU & SSBU organizational structure, responsibilities amongst the programs and the functional areas, and deliverables Qualifications You Must Have: + A University Degree in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience + Experience leading Profit & Loss for DoD contracts as a Program Manager or in a Functional leadership position + Experience managing risk, cost, quality, and schedule performance + Prior People Management Experience + Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
