Associate Director- Solutions & Delivery-FTS
Overview Accountability for the solution architecture and design governance for Forecast to Schedule – FLNA Lead for DP/IO/NO. This role is the FTS FLNA LEAD for DP/IO/NO as it relates to the global processes defined by the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT). Ability to provide IT knowledge to enable common global designs, data, reporting and analytics and support the delivery and governance of PGT solution capabilities. In depth understanding of Data Integration across Forecast to Schedule Modules to evaluate business problem statement, analyze, articulate and lead in end to end solution build and governance of core Planning/PPDS Transaction Data • Post MDG Workflow Responsibilities • Act as the Data Integration Lead for the Forecast to Schedule solution within the end to end process • Identity interim data integration requirements to support big bang and/or waved deployments across FTS values streams • Conduct business and IT workshops to understand end to end business process requirements for data integration, articulate and propose the best possible solution • Identify gaps, design & develop the solutions as required to enhance PGT solution capabilities across all in-scope PepsiCo markets and sectors • Drive completion of key project activities in collaboration with the Demand planning, Inventory optimization (IO), Supply Planning, Response and PP/DS IT Solution Architects and business partners • Act as advocate of change • Understand process interdependencies and ensure the design of fully integrated process solutions with other process teams such as Make to Deploy, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, etc. • Primary point of contact across the PQGC organization for overall status of FTS Data integration – i.e. the “go to” person • Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Global Process Leads, Solution Design Leads and Value Stream Leads on issue resolution and process design recommendations • Escalate appropriate decisions making requirements or process “choice point” to Global Process Owner • Willing to challenge status quo and ask difficult questions to drive for optimum solutions and outcomes • Ability to influence and work through others • Open to new ways of working, adopting industry standards and best practices • Ability to articulate or demonstrate perspectives and experiences • Ability to deliver high quality outcomes particularly under tight timelines Qualifications • 15+ years of hands-on SAP APO/IBP design, development, and support • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required • 10+ years of experience configuring, deploying and managing SAP APO, IBP and ERP with a focus on data integration • 4+ years of IBP, CI-DS and SAP S4 experience preferred • Understanding of master data and transactional data needs to support planning (Forecast to Schedule) • Familiarity or exposure to business and technical processes of demand planning, inventory optimization, supply planning, production scheduling and replenishment planning processes • Experience with planning and forecasting for large projects and programs • 5-10 years of project/program experience • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers, resolving very difficult and sensitive issues effectively • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. • Prior experience in working matrix organization and handling multiple stakeholders would be added advantage. • Intellectually curious with a strong desire to learn • IT leadership experience with Integrated Supply Chain projects • Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan 7+, Azure Dev Ops, Quality Center and MS Project • Solves highly complex problems within their work team • Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences • Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change • Consulting background a plus • Experience working in large scale Enterprise Programs and complex cross matrix environment • Prior experience working with global SAP solutions across Sectors, managing a global team to ensure minimizing any local change impacts • Experience as a Lead, managing SAP IBP/APO • Functional knowledge and understanding of master data elements and processes per the necessary in-scope data domain (i.e., Material, Supplier, Customer, and Finance) • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to persuade and influence others at all organization levels and the ability to foster lasting partnerships • Strong Project Management experience • Develop and enhance SAP PGT Workflow solutions maximizing shared code and common design patterns across platforms • Provide Solution Governance to projects – Provide input and recommendations to solution design • Perform design and code reviews • Organize and lead Proof of Concepts to demonstrate new and upcoming technologies • Identify and develop global, reusable
