The Department / Team:
The position is part of the Moody’s Analytics Global Sales and Customer Service Group.
The product suite for this role consist of ratings and default analytics data, models and tools. This includes the EDF-X platform (edfx.com).

The Role / Responsibilities:
The role will be responsible for supporting the business during the sales cycle process through to successful closure of deals. The incumbent will work within the framework of growing the client base, assisting the sales team during the process for new business generation, providing expert knowledge on specific products.
Proactively work with prospective clients through the sales process, providing technical assistance and guidance as requiredRespond to functional and technical queries of RFIs and RFPs, assisting Sales consultants in responding to sales related queriesDemonstrate the superiority and value of our products to potential and existing clientsProvide support to more junior members of the teamDeliver presentations and demonstration of the Moody’s range of software solutions to our prospect and high profile clients Partner with the wider sales team to build the sales pipeline to promote Moody’s Analytics solutionsContinually expand technical product knowledge acting as the subject matter expertTravel required (approximately 20% to 40% of your time).
Qualifications & Attributes:
Bachelor’s degree requiredA Moody’s employee at this level would typically have five to seven years’ experience working in a sales role within a research/data/analytics vendor with a successful track record in salesFluency in English and a second European language desirableAbility to interact with Senior level stakeholdersUnderstanding of financial marketsExcellent presentation skillsStrong knowledge of credit risk products, including rating and probability of default modelsProven track record of presales activity, preferably within the financial services#LI-ER1
