Job Description

The Position

The Organon Global Procurement & Supplier Management (GPSM) organization partners with the business to develop and implement innovative and fit for purpose sourcing strategies, external partnerships, and robust supplier management to maximize value for Organon.

The Travel Meetings Cards & Fleet EUCAN Category Lead will be responsible for TMCF Procurement & Suppliers Management for Europe and Canada, covering the scope of

Regional & Local Sourcing process managementSuppliers Performance Management and Governance

Responsibilities

TMCF commodities Regional & Local Sourcing process management in collaboration with Regional Procurement Operations & Cluster/Local ProcurementOwnership of Regional Category Buying Guidelines for TMCF commoditiesRegional Business requirements collection for Global Strategies definitionRegional savings validation in collaboration with Cluster/Local ProcurementRegional Governance & Performance Management of TMCF Global SuppliersRegional Business ReviewsCountries escalation when suppliers not performing.Global Strategies ImplementationStakeholders’ engagement (metrics /educational support)Programs adaptation / optimization based on regional/local needs.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills   

Strong Procurement, Suppliers Management and Analytics background.Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science or equivalentAt least 8 years of relevant work experience with a demonstrated record of customer focus, service-oriented mindset, suppliers management and analytics managementAbility to develop, articulate, and build support around a long-term vision and implement against milestones needed to drive realization of that vision.Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation, influencing and decision-making skills.A positive, engaging disposition with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy.Demonstrated leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, work under pressure, and follow through with assigned tasks with limited supervision.Ability to work independently, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyFluency in English requiredProficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) requiredTake initiative and be proactive in communication and effectively manage/prioritize business needs and relationships.


Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

Specific experience in Meetings, Travel, Corporate Cards, or Fleet is preferred.
