The Associate Systems Specialist is responsible for ongoing maintenance of all membership and eligibility loaded in the claims system. This position provides support for eligibility inquiries and the resolution of eligibility discrepancies.
If you are located in San Antonio, TX, you will have the flexibility to Work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assists with performing data and root cause analysis of business/systems processes related to WellMed supported member eligibility Serves as first tier contact in diagnosing and responding to data integrity issues related to member eligibility Assists the various enterprise departments by providing support with regard to any WellMed supported eligibility verifications or issues Works with Systems Specialist to load EDI eligibility data received from payers into system Load and maintain member special status flags to ensure accurate payment of member claims Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Demonstrated excellent customer service skills Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in computer literacy skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare or related field
