As an Associate Engineer in our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality systems and solutions in our Global Merchandise Technology team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement retail Merchandise technology solutions in a global enterprise environment. This role will be a key contributor in the design and development of Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Space Planning, Allocation and Replenishment IT initiatives using a product driven delivery model.

Responsibilities Design and develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems and applications.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows industry best practices.Conduct thorough testing of systems and applications to ensure functionality, security, and performance.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers.Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively addressing any issues and proactively identifying opportunities to improve existing systems and processes.Maintain and update documentation related to system design, development, and maintenance processes.Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ensure that all systems and applications adhere to security best practices and comply with relevant regulations and standards.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and the effectiveness of the team.Develop business acumen and domain knowledge in retail merchandising. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience with software development and implementing solutions through a systems development lifecycle.Experience with programming languages <such as .net, Python, Java, C#, or similar>.Experience with SQL Server, Oracle and DB2 Databases is a plus.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud).Team Player with positive energy and attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.

Experience Qualifications:

Associate Engineer: Minimum 1 year of experience

Nice to Haves:

Experience with various SDLC methodologies, preferably Agile.Knowledge of systems integration platforms and tools such as Boomi, Confluence Kafka, Apigee. Benefits

The annual base salary range is $54,000 - $90,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
