Associate Engineer
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Associate Engineer in Process Engineering at our location in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of process engineering, including the development and modification of process formulations. You will work largely independently, applying your professional expertise with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: • Develop and modify process formulations to meet quality standards. • Review product development requirements and ensure they are compatible with processing methods. • Determine costs and schedules based on product development requirements. • Implement improvements, modifications, or additions to document work. • Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications. • Use professional judgement to make decisions based on practice and previous experience. • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures, and systems used in your tasks. • Apply basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles related to the job. • Supervise the handling of materials and ensure adherence to quality standards. • Ensure that all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Possess a strong understanding of engineering principles and methods • Experience in product development and quality standards implementation • Proficient in handling materials and supervising operational procedures • Knowledge in module specification and modification • Ability to adapt and apply engineering principles to new situations • Demonstrated skills in utilizing engineering methods for problem-solving • Ability to work within a team and independently as required • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong analytical and decision-making skills • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines • Knowledge of industry-specific software and technology would be advantageous • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required • Relevant work experience in process engineering is desirable Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
