Associate Engineer
Job Title: Associate Engineer

Job Description

This is a remote role with a preference for candidates located near Cambridge, MA or Thousand Oaks, CA. Candidates in these locations will be required to come into the office once a month. Standard working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. We are seeking an ideal candidate with a bachelor's degree and some industry experience through internships or research projects. Education in engineering, data sciences, biology, chemistry, or related disciplines is necessary. Experience in drug product processes such as fill finish or inspection is highly desirable. Proficiency in Excel, statistical process control, Spotfire, or Tableau is required.

ResponsibilitiesImplement and enhance digital systems and automated analysis/visualization tools like Spotfire for streamlining data management and monitoring.Extract, verify, analyze, and produce technical reports for process monitoring.Support investigations of adverse signals identified through process data monitoring.Integrate new products and processes into the data monitoring business process and quality management system.Provide support for other ad hoc studies and projects, such as technology transfers of processes to new sites.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in engineering, data sciences, biology, chemistry, or a related discipline.Some industry experience through internships or research projects.Experience with drug product processes, including fill finish or inspection.Proficiency in Excel, statistical process control, Spotfire, or Tableau.Additional Skills & QualificationsManufacturing experience, preferably in the drug product/pharmaceutical field. Manufacturing experience in other fields may be considered based on relevance and transferability of skills.Experience with data entry, verification, analysis, and/or data management IS systems.Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, with a preference for candidates near Cambridge, MA or Thousand Oaks, CA, who will be required to come into the office once a month. Standard working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves working with digital systems and automated tools for data management and monitoring. The work environment is supportive of continuous learning and application of skills in process monitoring and quality management systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00
