Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has openings for Associate/Engineer Manufacturing Level 1/2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position for our A-Shift Monday - Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. The selected candidates will support process design and respond to production issues related to aircraft manufacturing (composite layup, cure, machining, assembly, metallic assembly, and subsystems). This position is located at our Clearfield, Utah facility.
Responsibilities:
Develops manufacturing process structure – instructions, materials, tooling, equipment, and software required to fabricate the productIdentifies process improvements, captures feedback from Operations, and incorporates into the manufacturing processCreates and maintains the planning work instructionsReviews design changes and specification changes and ensures they are captured in the manufacturing processPromptly responds to technical issues that arise on the production floor utilizing work instructions, design models, and specificationsClarifies work instructions to Operations and crafts modifications as neededLeads multifunctional teams to solve production issuesDocuments issues and disseminates information to core manufacturing engineering for incorporation into future releasesResolves issues by collaborating with other resource groups as neededGets involved in MRB repairs and special processes to assist Operations as neededPerforms PFMEA and RCCA investigationsCreates and maintains MBOMsThe ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment with diverse assignments. Positions are available on day, night, and weekend shifts. Night and weekend shifts include a pay differential.
This requisition can be filled as an Associate Engineer Level 1 or Engineer Manufacturing Level 2 depending on qualification below.

Salary Range: $58,200.00 - $87,200.00Salary Range 2: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
