Job Summary Job Responsibilities Perform administrative activities in support of the Engineering organization. Support engineering with engineering duties and/or hands-on tasks, which may include maintaining engineering databases, engineering files and labor costs. Examine records for completeness and accuracy and act as a resource for department needs in the areas of training, troubleshooting, and program or project coordination. May handle special projects with minimal or no management initiation or review. Perform a variety of routine activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, and or engineering, for a specific project, business or a technical unit Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources Compile, review and analyze data Use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations May design processes to enhance work flow Provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures This position typically spends 70% of their time supporting the function Good understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization Job Responsibilities Part II Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team Knowledge of office procedures and good writing and verbal skills
