With a diverse private and public sector client base, we are adding an Associate Environmental Engineer with outstanding technical skills to help lead and grow our practice. Our projects involve complex site investigations and the implementation of innovative remediation technologies.

Your Role:
As an Associate Environmental Engineer, you will:
· Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
· Support the evaluation, design, and implementation of site remediation technologies.
· Manage, operate, and maintain remediation systems.
· Coordinate and contract with subcontractors.
· Plan and execute soil, soil vapor, and groundwater investigations and monitoring activities.
· Analyze data and prepare technical reports.
· Delegate and oversee tasks for junior staff as needed while managing project schedules and budgets.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
· Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a focus on remediation and EIT certification in California is preferred.
· Familiarity with California site remediation permitting and regulatory requirements is desirable.
Additional Requirements:
· Successful completion of 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and annual refreshers (provided as needed).
· Ability and willingness to perform fieldwork and travel.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
Desired Skills and Experience:
· Strong technical writing and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Resourcefulness, time management, and innovative problem-solving abilities.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
· Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD and gINT.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary Range: $68K - $72K
Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
