The Associate Field Service Engineer is responsible for developing the knowledge and skills to support the maintenance, installation, and repair of SCIEX products at customer sites. This position works under close supervision and mentoring by a manager, regional specialist, and Senior Engineers within the territory. Tasks are performed independently as competencies are developed.
This position is part of the Field Service organization and will be located in the Netherlands preferably in the West of the Netherlands, on a remote work basis.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Perform preventative maintenance and triage repair on selected products, perform installation/repair calls independently.
+ Develop knowledge of SCIEX products by completing trainings.
+ Learn and develops technical skills necessary to perform high-quality maintenance and triage repair on instruments.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ You will have experience in operating and maintaining scientific instruments in a laboratory or healthcare setting within a chemistry, biology or life science setting.
+ Excellent communications skills and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally with customers.
+ Willingness to travel for multiple days at a time for Customer visits and/or training, driving license is essential.
+ Fluency in Dutch & English languages
It would be a plus if you also possess:
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Computer literate in Windows and MS Office
